We are all looking forward to Apple's next generation iPhone ie the iPhone 5. But now it seems that Apple is more busy preparing a Mini iPhone.

We've heard of such rumours ever since the launch of the iPhone 2G when people said Apple will announce a smaller device like they did for the iPod line.

This time though it seems Apple is really thinking of producing a smaller and cheaper variant of their popular iPhone to combat Google which seems to be slowly making it's way on to devices of all price ranges.

A source has reportedly seen a prototype version of the mini iPhone firsthand. The phone is said to be around two thirds the size of the iPhone 4 and lacks a Home button.

The phone is planned to be launched in mid 2011 and it's information is only shared among a few Apple employees. The price is said to be 200 US$ without the obligation to sign a 2 year contract.

The device will be cheaper as it will be using nearly the same components as the iPhone 4 rather than the new components of the iPhone 4 successor.

The source also said that though Apple is currently planning to launch it in mid 2011, it might even be delayed or cancelled finally since Apple often works on products that don't get released.

We earlier told you about Nokia's CEO Stephen Elop having talk with Steve Ballmer of Microsoft and Eric Schmidt of Google. Nokia went official on their partnership with Microsoft but the source mentioned that the Android deal fell through. But according to Eldar Murtazin, Nokia is considering becoming partners with Google.

His sources say that Nokia is in negotiation with Google as well to form a partnership and launch the first Nokia Android devices in 2012. He says that Nokia is going towards more turnover, however they will end up with no OS of their own.

Right now we are not sure of the accuracy of the news. But Eldar Murtazin and his sources have been pretty accurate in the past.

Nokia yesterday announced their strategic partnership with Microsoft, where both the companies were aiming to save themselves. It was quit unexpected, that Nokia couldn't see MeeGo as their winning smartphone platform but it certain that their attention has all turned towards the US market and hence this decision. Coming to the concept, just after hours of announcement this concept phone by these two companies has already been making rounds.

This might just be the way future Nokia phones running Windows Phone 7 look. Though this is just a concept, it has Nokia design elements(sweet). And the feature lacking Windows Phone 7 OS(atleast in the current state before the firmware update) (bitter). Though the phone sure looks gorgeous, this may or may not be made into a working model. But all that we can do is sit and watch. They must now bring the phones to market as soon as they can or the competition will just get tougher than what they would have expected.

There were also talks that both the firms were already working on a Windows based smartphone. Lets see how they roll.

Microsoft is trying to keep its webmail service alive, so in order to draw more attention to it, Microsoft has add new features and one of these features is disposable email addresses.

We're positive that you don't like receiving all sorts of unwanted emails from various sites and forums on which you register every day. With disposable email addresses you can receive all sorts of emails to your primary email account without giving your primary email when you don't want to. It's a good way to keep your privacy since you can forward all of your mails automatically to your primary email. In addition, you'll be able to create up to five email aliases for each Hotmail account, and you'll be able to switch between them in a matter of clicks.

This is a great addition, and it will definitely make Hotmail a bit cleaner and more convenient, so if you're using Hotmail, make sure that you try this out.

DeceasedPixel has just dropped the price of their universal iOS game (for iPhone, iPad) Super Mega Worm [App Store], a pixellated take on JTR's Death Worm, to zero for a limited time in celebration of the release of the game in the Mac App Store [link] and the launch of the Verizon iPhone.

Super Mega Worm opens with an 8-bit retro cutscene explaining how humans have consumed the earth, and how mother nature now has a bone to pick with us. She tasks her favorite pest exterminator, Wojira the Death Worm, with wiping humans from the earth and restoring balance to the force…you get the idea. It's a nice little setup for the mayhem that is the hallmark of the giant worm game, and an introduction to the glorious mario-like pixel art.

We enjoyed the game in our review back in August and are happy to report that most of the issues we encountered way back when have been addressed in updates from the developer.
