After being done with all 4 major US carriers, Samsung is heading to regional carrier Cellular South with their Samsung Galaxy S. Cellular South is getting the same Galaxy S we saw on Verizon, which is actually the Vibrant. The only exclusive feature in Cellular South Galaxy S is that it comes with Discover apps. Cellular South said " Discover Apps (pre-loaded on the Galaxy S) is your guide to the apps that you want the most, all reviewed and recommended by our Discover Center team. This CS Original App will help you find and use the very best apps for your Galaxy S smartphone, chosen from among the thousands available in Android Market." So folks, no words on an exact release date, but you will be able to see it by holidays. So stay tuned folks !

Our friends over at PocketNow got their hands on a screenshot of Windows Phone 7 powered HTC Phone, which is known as HTC 7 Trophy. We know about two WP7 phones, one is the Mozart and other is the Schubert. I am sure that HTC 7 trophy is a codename of the phone, perhaps it's a codename of HTC HD7, and the image above could be the first image of HTC HD7, but still it's not 100% confirm. As HTC is planning to launch WP7 powered phones next month. So we will hear about this phone next month, or may be another leak information will prove it, so stay tuned !

By the way folks, What do you think about this device, is this the HD7?

""It was only a couple of weeks ago that we reviewed Solomon's Boneyard from Raptisoft, the prequel to the excellent dual-stick dungeon crawler Solomon's Keep [99/Lite]. In the game you'll play as one of an assortment of different wizards and witches who are trying to prevent a young Solomon Dark from desecrating the local graveyard. You'll fight against endless waves of increasingly difficult undead enemies within the confines of the cemetery. Your character will earn experience and level up allowing for upgrading of your magical abilities, and a persistent monetary system lets you collect coins for use in an upgrade shop in-between play sessions.

We really liked Solomon's Boneyard when it came out earlier this month and found it well worth the one dollar price tag, but surprisingly the game has already dropped to free for a day. The following video gives you a good idea of what the gameplay is like in Solomon's Boneyard:

If you had been on the fence about buying Solomon's Boneyard before, there's no excuse not to give it a try during this temporary price drop. If you like the gameplay, then we can definitely recommend checking out Solomon's Keep as well, which has similar elements but a structured level progression and meatier story to go along with it. Be sure to check our full reviews for Solomon's Boneyard and Solomon's Keep, as well as our take on the Solomon's Keep 2.0 update. For the grand total of 99 you can grab two of the better dual-stick shooter experiences on the App Store. More information and impressions can be found in the Solomon's Boneyard thread in our forums.

A lot of devices are leaked in Vietnam before their launch, Nokia E73 and iPod Touch are few of them. And now another handset is leaked in Vietnam, the Blackberry Bold 9780, which is a successor to popular handset Blackberry Bold 9700. Thanks to folks over at BGR who spotted this, there is no additional details about the handset at the moment, but I am pretty sure that it's running Blackberry OS6. And for you, there's a pretty long video after the break in which you can see the 9780 in action. Or head over to this link if you just want to watch images of the phone. By the way I can't find any difference between 9700 and 9780, what about you?

Recently LG announced the Optimus One and Optimus Chic, both are good phones and comes with Froyo. And if you live in USA, then soon you will see Optimus One on Verizon, because according to the leaked screenshot above, LG Optimus One is headed to Verizon as LG Vortex. LG Optimus One is not a high end device, the device features Android 2.2, 3.2-inch HVGA touchscreen, 600MHz processor, 3-megapixel camera with face tracking and "smile shot", 170MB of internal storage, and 1500mAh battery. I think Verizon will launch this device as an entry level Android device. I hope Verizon will launch this device during holidays, because it's a perfect time for it. You can expect a price tag with 2-yr contract around $100-150.

Folks over at Droid Life are claiming that Android 2.2 for Droid X is coming out tomorrow. As you can see in the image above from Droid Life, the update will begin from tomorrow 12:00 PM ET. The update is not OTA, so you have to do it manually. You just need to go to Settings > About Phone > System Updates, after 12 PM tomorrow and there you have it. It's better than OTA update because OTA takes a lot of time to hit your phone, so do it yourself whenever you want to. And folks who live in Western coast side, you will be able to get it by 9:00 am tomorrow. So who's excited about Froyo for Droid X?

Adult Swim's Robot Unicorn Attack [99] had an update hit mere moments ago to add full OpenFeint support with both online leaderboards and achievements. If you've been annoyed by your inability to truly boast about your best runs other than posting to Facebook or Twitter, make sure you grab this update ASAP.

If you still haven't downloaded the game yet, it's still on sale for 99 and I really recommend picking it up. It's a quirky take on the see how far you can go platform game type that has become so popular on the App Store, and it's even available online as a free Flash game. The inclusion of online leaderboards answers my only gripe about the game, and I really can't recommend it enough.

Illusion Labs' Labyrinth 2 [$4.99 / Free] also saw an update today which aside from high resolution graphics for the Retina Display of the iPhone 4 and new iPod touch also added Game Center leaderboards and achievements. There are 36 achievements in all to farm, and if you're looking to fill up your Game Center achievement listing, Labyrinth 2 is an awesome game to do it with.

We loved Labyrinth 2 in our review, and really recommend at least trying the lite version out if you've yet to play the game yet. With Retina Display graphics and Game Center support, this is an already awesome game that just got much more awesome.

Open world crime games have been incredibly popular for years now, so it wasn't much of a surprise to see Gameloft release Gangstar: West Coast Hustle [$4.99 / Free / HD] which we liked quite a bit in our review. Following the success of Gangstar, Rockstar threw its hat in to the ring with Grand Theft Auto: Chinatown Wars [$9.99 / Free / HD] which really upped the ante with a real Grand Theft Auto experience with all the depth and complexity that players have come to expect of the series. It's going to be interesting to see what Gameloft includes in the Gangstar sequel to one-up Rockstar, but the good news is we won't have to wait much longer as Miami Vindication is set to be released on the 23rd.

If you're like us and are looking forward to stealing virtual cars on the streets of Gameloft's version of Miami, check out this new trailer:

Something that immediately pops out is how low polygon count everything is, but it remains to be seen how noticeable this is when you're actually playing the game. Thankfully, we don't have much longer to wait, and we should have a review available as soon as Gangstar: Miami Vindication hits the App Store late tomorrow night.

Windows Live Mail and Gmail are currently the most popular webmail services but that doesn't mean that others such as Yahoo Mail are neglected. Speaking of Yahoo Mail, Yahoo Mail just had some interface changes so let's check it out.

While Windows Live Mail and Gmail are the most used webmail services at the moment, and in order to compete with them Yahoo has decided to update its Yahoo Mail service a bit. Yahoo has announced that its Yahoo Mail will be cleaner, faster, and more sociable and that we should see this new interface arrive in the next few weeks. It seems that the new Yahoo Mail will have better Flickr and YouTube support in your emails and thanks to it each time when you open an email with Flickr photo or YouTube video it will automatically embed itself into the video.

Another interesting improvement is Facebook and Twitter support and with it, you'll be able to update your Twitter and Facebook statuses directly through Yahoo Mail.Improved Yahoo Mail sounds promising enough, and we can't wait to see it in action, but will it be enough to compete with Windows Live Mail or Gmail.

""Ahhh, International Pirate Day. A parodic holiday created by two guys back in 1995 that thanks to media coverage and the Internet as a whole has turned in to an international sensation. Assuming you observe the holiday, on the 19th of September you simply spend the day talking like a pirate. Some people take this even farther and dress like a pirate, go to pirate themed parties, or even pirate themed pub crawls with entire gangs of pirates marauding about town. iPhone developer Newtoy, creators of We Rule [Free] as well as both Chess With Friends [$2.99 / Free] and Words With Friends [$2.99 / Free] just released Words With Pirates [Free], a pirate-themed scrabble game.

"" ""

Unfortunately it would seem that Words With Pirates got caught up in the Apple approval process, or met some other speed bump along the way preventing it from being available for International Talk Like a Pirate Day on the 19th. Even though it's a little late, the game is just as ridiculous. Basically, it's Words With Friends with all the push notification powered asynchronous multiplayer that made the original great with a tile set and dictionary conducive for playing pirate words. Y's, A's, R's, G's, H's, and exclamation marks are plentiful for playing words like "Arrrrgh!" or "Harg!"

Words With Pirates is free, and only available for a limited time per the iTunes description. If you've had a good time with Words With Friends in the past, and love pirates, I'm not sure why you wouldn't grab this. If this is the first you've heard of the With Friends games, I highly recommend checking out the ad-based free versions of both Words and Chess.

Two of Ngmoco's recently announced titles have made their debut in the Canadian App Store as of yesterday afternoon Touch Pets: Cats and We City. As with most of Ngmoco's games that are hosted over online servers, they have released these games in the limited market of Canada in order to test them out and make tweaks to the system before readying a worldwide release. During a Ngmoco media event at WWDC in June, we took a look at both Touch Pets: Cats and We City and determined them to be pretty much in line with previous Ngmoco releases. Although the apple doesn't fall too far from the proverbial freemium tree that is the Ngmoco business model, both games offer up a nice free-to-play experience in their respective forms of virtual simulation.

Touch Pets: Cats While retaining many of the same general concepts of its canine predecessor Touch Pets: Dogs, this feline-themed virtual pet game does away with the food bowl mechanic that was the bane of many Touch Pets: Dogs players and replaces it with catnip. In Touch Pets: Cats, you can play with your kitty at any time, and the catnip merely allows you to gain coins and experience at an accelerated rate. Playing with and caring for your pet is largely similar to Touch Pets: Dogs, and there isan emphasis on collecting items to customize your living spaces. You can visit your friends houses and pets as well using the Plus+ network, and can purchase additional catnip through IAP if you choose. Further information and a discussion of Touch Pets: Cats can be found in our forums.

We City Following in the footsteps of We Rule and We Farm, We City takes many of the same mechanics from those titles and places them in a modern metropolis setting. You'll build your city from the ground up by placing buildings, streets, grass, and other infrastructure on a starting plot of land. As your city flourishes, you'll be able to expand the area where you can build and unlock more items and buildings for your city. The main focus in We City is on industrial production, and you'll need to build factories and stores that can produce goods and services for your citizens and those of your Plus+ network friends. This process can take time, however, and if you're feeling impatient you can use in-app purchasing to buy ZAP that will speed up your rate of production. As always, a discussion of We City is taking place in our forums if you're looking for more information and player impressions.

There's not currently a set US release date for Touch Pets: Cats or We City, but both titles are free to download if you happen to have a Canadian iTunes account. For those that don't, you can most likely expect to see both titles in the US App Store sometime before the end of the year.

Not much time has passed since Sony PS Move was officially launched in stores of U.S. Usually we don't get to see people tearing apart gadgets to understand what they have but people at iFixIt have already teared apart Sony PS Move right after its launch and they have found that Sony PS Move is nothing more complex than your cellphone.

The Wii and PlayStation use different methods of locating their controllers. The Wii Remote has an infrared (IR) sensor built into the controller, and uses triangulation from the IR emitters on the sensor bar placed near the TV to locate itself. PlayStation Move, unlike the Wii, can locate the motion controller in 3D space. The PlayStation Eye camera visually recognizes the X/Y position as well as the relative size of the glowing sphere on the motion controller to pinpoint the controller's location.

Some of the components found in today's smartphones that have also become part of the Sony PS Move are the accelerometer, bluetoothtransmitter, gyroscope, vibrating motor and also a MEMS compass. I suppose we should appreciate the way Sony has come up with something as innovative as the Sony PlayStation Move without using any complex technology but in some respects we expected abit more.

Vikings are widely considered a gruff and fearsome group, but what many people may not know is that they have a softer side as well. This has never been more readily apparent than it is in the game Axe in Face [99] from Blue Carrot Games. The Norse gardener Red Beard, when he's not looting and pillaging, likes to tend to his beautiful plot of yellow daffodils. His fellow Viking peers apparently don't share this appreciation of fine horticulture and will brazenly trample through Red Beard's garden, crushing the delicate flowers beneath their feet. This enrages Red Beard, and he deals with it in typical Viking fashion by throwing an axe at the offenders and lopping off their heads.

Okay, so that part doesn't exactly qualify as the "softer" side of Red Beard, but it is an effective way to keep people out of your garden. Axe in Face can best be described as a line drawing defense game. Your daffodils occupy the left edge of the screen while waves of impolite Vikings approach from the right. Drawing a line from Red Beard creates a path for the axe to travel on before returning to him like a boomerang, and the goal is to behead as many Vikings as possible with each throw while not allowing any of them to get by you and into the garden. You can only throw one axe at a time and must wait for it to return to Red Beard before throwing again, and if even one Viking gets into the daffodils it's game over.

There's also some strategic elements to Axe in Face that add challenge and variety to the gameplay. Since the waves of Vikings are constantly moving forward, you'll need to lead each axe throw in order to ensure it crosses their path. There are different types of Vikings moving at different speeds, and it can be really satisfying to time your throw just right as to hit a group of them in one throw. One type of Viking is holding a tree as he walks, and your axe must first pass through a fire at the bottom of the screen before it will do damage to these enemies. Also, orbs can be collected from beheaded Vikings which contribute to a special meter which can allow you to either zap three Vikings with lightning or freeze the playfield and slow down their movement.

All of these elements come together really well in Axe in Face providing a simple concept with just enough depth and strategy to keep things interesting. It can be an incredibly challenging game too, but not overly frustrating. Rather than get mad at failing a level I can't help but smile as Red Beard bursts into tears when his flowers are trampled. The graphics and sound effects are really well done too, and Axe in Face contains 32 increasingly difficult levels and a number of achievements which should keep you busy for quite a while. Players in our forums are really enjoying the game, and the developer is there as well to answer questions and take suggestions for future updates. If you're looking for a game that blends elements from different genres in a fun way and provides a hearty challenge, Axe in Face is definitely a solid choice.

According to Digitimes, the new Apple iPad is coming out in Q1 2011. Apple touch panel suppliers are saying that they are testing 9.7 inch panels and they are ultra-thin. Apple always refresh their product line after a year, 1st gen iPad was launched in April 2010, so you can expect the 2nd gen iPad in February or March 2011. iPad is Apple's one of the most successful devices, and Apple has sold millions of iPad units. So what's going to be new in the next-generation iPad? I think the next-gen iPad will include a camera, both front and rear. Because I know a lot of people who dropped the iPad because of no camera. The new iPhone 4 comes with both front and rear camera, so does the new iPod Touch. So I think the new iPad will also feature two cameras. What else would be in there? One more thing came in my mind, AT&T is also launching LTE next year, so you can keep a LTE capable iPad in your mind… and iPhone too!

Tell us in the comments box what you want in the new iPad, and please don't say you want Android in it, because this is also a wish of a lot of people.
