Google finally launched it's much anticipated Music streaming service Google Music in Beta. The service was announced at Google I/O and will be available only on a invitational basis for users in the US. The service comes with the Music Manager software for Windows and Mac which lets you upload all your music from your computer to the cloud.

You can upload upto 20,000 songs during the beta period during which the service will remain free. The Music app for Android tablets and phones will be available soon to let you stream your music from the cloud. Android phones running on Android 2.2 or later will support the service. Your music is synced across all your android devices over� the cloud and you don't have to bother connecting your phone to your computer. Looks like Google is taking a nice jab at Apple's iTunes service. You can also organize your music into playlists and manage them over the web or from your device.
