Last month, HTC announced their new flagship device which is known as HTC Sensation. HTCSensation is HTC's first ever dual-core device, it seems to be an amazing device and it's actually HTC's answer to devices like Samsung Galaxy S II and Optimus 2X. HTC Sensation was recently launched by Vodafone in UK, and other UK carriers like Orange UK, T-Mobile UK and Three UK are also gearing up to launch it. Someone asked Three UK a question related to Sensation and in reply, Three UK tweeted that it will not be a part of Three UK line-up till June. Well, June is right around the corner and Three UK will launch it anytime next month, and it's already showing up at their "Coming Soon" section. Sensation comes with a 1.2 GHz Dual-Core processor, 4.3-inch touch screen with qHD resolution, Android 2.3 along with the latest version of Sense UI, 8-MP camera with auto-focus and dual-LED flash light capable enough to record video at 1080p, and 768 MB RAM with 1 GB storage.

So if you are thinking to buy Sensation or Samsung Galaxy S 2, then it would be hard for you to choose either because both are amazing smartphone. So anyone picking Sensation from Three UK next month? And tell us which is your favorite, Sensation or SGS2?

At its Google I/O event , Google let loose the next version of Android ie Ice Cream Sandwich. What is so special about it ? Well for one it makes the entire code base cross platform. What this means is that the same OS will run on your tablet , smartphone and even the desktop. The only change will be the UI. So what do we have here ?

It looks like Honeycomb can already change its UI depending on pixel density. As screen size increases , the pixel density decreases and this is where the usual Honeycomb UI is used. However if the screen has a pixel density greater than 170 , it automatically shifts to the Gingerbread UI as this is the range of densities found only in smartphones. It is possible to replicate the effect by artificially changing the density of your screen by using a root only app. Click through to the source for more instructions.

Confession time: some games are so adorable I just can't resist them. Storm in a Teacup [99] is one of those games I saw the screenshots and I knew it had to be mine. Based on the reaction in our forums, I'm not alone. Luckily the game largely lives up to its first impressions.
Yes, Storm in a Teacup is completely adorable. But it's also a great little platformer. In it, you control Storm, a little boy riding a teacup through an imaginary world created by his brother, Cloud. Using on-screen controls, you move him around the game world by flying in short bursts. You can't get far without running out of boosting power, so you'll need to time jumps carefully to get where you're going. You'll also need to solve simple physics puzzles as you work your way through.

My biggest fear going into this game was that the on-screen controls wouldn't work out, but I found them quite responsive. It took a while to get the rhythm of flight down one full press of the boost button won't always get you where you want to go, so you need to learn to tap it to extend your flight time but otherwise the controls always worked well.
Thank goodness for that, because you'll need precise control over Storm if you want to pick up all the collectables. Each level of Storm in a Teacup is stocked with sugar cubes and a well-hidden sticker. If you find every sugar cube, locate the sticker, and make it through the level without dying, you'll earn a "perfect" for that level and get to see your best completion time. Crystal/Game Center achievements keep track of your perfects, and provide some interesting challenges for completing levels in unusual ways.
Storm in a Teacup includes 40 main levels. Playing through the whole game took me about three hours, though the fastest completion time recorded so far is 40 minutes. There are also five survival levels that can be unlocked throughout the course of the game. Between those and the challenge of perfect playthroughs, there's lots to replay. The difficulty curve also works well. You're faced with simple levels while you learn the controls, but by the midway point things get challenging. There were a couple frustrating moments when I really wanted to skip a level, but every level can be completed with enough care.
One technical note: Storm in a Teacup is universal, but some of our forum users have complained about low frame rate on older devices, including the original iPad. Hopefully this will be addressed in an update. Given the choice, I preferred playing the iPhone version (I find the on-screen controls uncomfortable after a while on iPad), but there are a few sections where the camera zooms out and the action is difficult to see.

I'm really happy with what Storm in a Teacup has to offer, but I feel like Cobra Mobile missed an opportunity to take it from a sweet, challenging platformer to an instant classic. All that's missing is a good story. I couldn't help but wonder why Cloud had created this wonderland for his brother, and why it got progressively more sadistic as the game went on. Sibling rivalry? Was I dodging spinning blades while being blown into spikes because Storm had played with Cloud's toys or called him names? A story as cute and absurd as the game world would have made Storm in a Teacup come to life. That said, it's a great game and an easy recommendation.

We all love Android for its flexibility andcustomization. But even the most ardent fan will agree that the music player on the Android is in need of a major revamp. Enter ,Fede , the developer responsible for Launcher Pro which is the most popular third party launcher on the Android Marketplace. Fede's Music Player is a complete port of the Windows Phone 7 music player UI to Android. Even at its current Alpha level of development everything just works. The UI is identical to Zune player on WP7 and animations are fluid.

Coupled with alternative application launchers like Launcher 7 , you can skin your phone to look almost like Windows Phone 7 while maintaining the underlying flexibility.

Verizon Wireless is one of the largest mobile phone networks in USA and at the moment, they are offering number of amazing Android devices. Verizon introduced their first ever Android device in October 2009, and the name of the device is Motorola Droid. It's the first ever CDMA Android phone, and it really changed the way people think about Android. Last year, Motorola launched the successor to Droid which is known as Droid 2, which is also an amazing device and comes with some amazing features but with time, everything gets old. Droid 2 was launched in August, and Verizon refreshes their Droid series every year. We recently showed you shots anddetails related to Droid 3, and the successor looks really promising.

Our friends over atTechnoBuffalo got some more details related to Droid 3 from their reliable source. They are saying that it's possible that the device comes with either Tegra 2 processor or TI OMAP4430 dual-core processor; it's not confirmed yet so let's wait for some official words. It has an 8 MP camera and it's possible that it comes with a front facing camera too, as we can see that in the image above. There is also a HDMI output, so you can watch yourfavoritevideos right on your HDMI-enabledTV. Droid 3 for sure packs some good features but their tipster is saying that the phone is missing LTE capability. We alsoshowed you that it comes with a 5-row QWERTY keyboard. As Verizon is promoting their new technology a lot, and almost all new Verizon smartphones has this power. I personally doubt it because Droid series is Verizon's most popular series, so I am looking forward to Motorola and Verizon to confirm it. It's rumored that this device will be out next month, so grab your popcorns and start waiting for thenext Droid.

So anyone ditching their current device for Droid 3?
