It seems that MySpace is losing the battle against the Facebook, and therefore MySpace decided to team up with Facebook. No, MySpace wasn't acquired by Facebook, but it has introduced another cool feature called Mashup with Facebook.

You probably remember the Sync with Facebook feature that was introduced a while ago that allowed users to share their status updates from MySpace on Facebook. Recently, Mashup with Facebook was introduced and it allows MySpace users to import their likes on Facebook as well as interests to their MySpace stream.

New users that want to join MySpace can simply click the Mashup with Facebook button, and create a basic MySpace profile almost instantly because some of its data from their Facebook account will be imported right away. This feature is available worldwide now, and according to the MySpace, we should see a Facebook Like button on MySpace soon enough. It would be easier to share interests with other Facebook friends. This new feature has received mixed reception from the users.
