Here are the live hands on pictures of the HTC Wildfire S which was announced today by HTC at MWC (Mobile Wolrd Congress) in Fira, Barcelona. It is the successor to the HTC Wildfire.

The phone has a HVGA resolution compared to the QVGA resolution of the original Wildfire. It will come pre-loaded with Android 2.3 Gingerbread. It is a smartphone aimed for the masses.

ZTE which is well known for their low end Android offerings has today announced a high end Android Gingerbread based device which comes with a 4.3? capacitive multitouch display.

Dubbed the ZTE Skate , the phone is powered by a 800 Mhz processor along with an Adreno 200 GPU. There's also a 5 megapixel camera with LED flash on the back, along with the usual Bluetooth, A-GPS, and WiFi

Here are two videos showing how rugged the Sonim XP3300 Force is and how it can withstand any kind of temperature and climate your are in.

In the above frozen test, Sonim freezes their phone in a block of ice and makes a call to it using another phone. The phone starts ringing even while it is frozen.

In the second video, the phone is subjected to very low temperatures of -15 degrees Celcius. The phone was easily managing to play a video as well.
