Intel Medfield Based Devices to Launch in Q3 2011

Sources say that mobile phones powered by Intel's new Medfield processors are likely to hit the market as early as Q3 of 2011.

Intel has reportedly increased the testing of their processors to end ARM's processor reign in the mobile phone segment.

Intel claim that their processor will beat ARM in terms of power efficiency. AAVA Mobile has been showing prototypes of phones with the new 32nm processors.

Intel also hopes to make use of the acquisition of Infineon to improve their mobile phones and tablets.

Hackers have found a way to &#39;unban&#39; themselves from PSN

You've probably heard or read that Sony is threatening to ban hackers from PlayStation Network, but this doesn't mean that Sony has won the battle. It seems that hackers have already found a way to 'unban' themselves and gain access to PlayStation Network once again.


After Sony announced that it will ban players that use jailbreak tools or run pirated games, it didn't take long for hackers to find a solution to avoid getting banned or even unban themselves. It seems that the hacking community has a new tool that can allow hackers to remove ban from their consoles or even ban other consoles, and in order to that, only thing that hackers need are console ID's.

As you can see, with this tool hackers will be able to unban themselves, and this means that Sony will continue to play hide and seek with hackers again. This new tool isn't a perfect solution, but it works, so we'll have to wait and see what will Sony do about it.

Aircel today launched the much happening 3G service in Karnataka and UP East regions. They had few things to share about opportunities with 3G. Also they announced few other services that comes bundled with 3G. Aircel is offering many services like PocketInternet3G, PocketTV and Pocket Videos as part of its 3G offering.

As announced earlier, company has also launched a Froyo based Android handset called Ideos, priced at Rs 8,499.

3G data usage base rates 3p/10kb ie 3RS/MB.

Starts with Sachet packets.

Student pack at Rs.92/100mb

Data plan extends with Rs.202 where you get 250MB data.

Rs.602 for 1GB of data download with 30days validity.

NOTE:� There is no Unlimited 3G data plan launched by the operator.

Unlimited data usage at Rs.1275. But, 3G Dongle only.

Exclusive data plans as above with Nokia, Samsung, Blackberry and Dell products.

Their 3G data plans are pretty decent and reasonable. Their base data rate �is 3 paise/10KB . While other private operators have 10 paise/ 10KB as base data rate . Where, BSNL charging 2p/10KB and MTNL charging 1p/10KB.� Also, existing Aircel customers can enjoy 250MB of data usage and also 50minutes of free video calling within home network as� 3G introductory offer.

&#39;Final Fantasy III&#39; on iOS To Be Enhanced Version of 2006 Nintendo DS 3D Remake

There's been a lot of buzz about Final Fantasy III lately. Ever since we first announced over the weekend that it might be coming to iOS, and then after Square Enix officially confirmed that it was indeed coming, everybody has been wondering what version of the game it would be. According to Andriasang.com, Japanese gaming magazine Famitsu has the first details of Final Fantasy III for iOS.

Famitsu claims that it will indeed be the 2006 Nintendo DS 3D remake of the original, but enhanced quite a bit for iOS. The graphics are being redone in high resolution and the music and sound effects are getting an overhaul as well. The characters will be controlled via a "touch anywhere" analog stick, and during battle attacks and commands will be carried out simply by tapping on an enemy.

I wish there were more details available at this time, but I'm excited to know that the iOS version of Final Fantasy III will be the DS version that I enjoyed more than 4 years ago. Even more exciting is that if Square Enix is bringing this game to the App Store, then there is a strong possibility that they will bring the (in my opinion) superior Final Fantasy IV DS remake to iOS as well. I'm sure we'll be hearing more details about Final Fantasy III on iOS in the coming weeks as its March release draws closer, and until then you can head to the upcoming thread in our forums for discussion of the game.
