If you were one of the many people who loved Galaxy on Fire 2 [$9.99 / Lite] (and understandably so, the game is great), you're in for a treat with the update landing later this month. Give the recently released trailer a look:

This update essentially includes two components. For free, all players will get access to three "refurbished" space ships from the original Galaxy on Fire in addition to a personal space station where you can store multiple space ships and cargo. The Valkyrie portion of the update is an add-on available via IAP which includes a new storyline (with voiceovers), as well as new ships, weaponry, and improved equipment. There's also new planets, and a "black market trading system" which we're anxious to try out.

All of this is landing on the 28th, so make sure you clear out that weekend if you're a Galaxy on Fire fan.

During Microsoft's MIX conference in Las Vegas, Windows Phone director Joe Belfiore took the stage to demonstrate how well Microsoft's new Internet Explorer 9 mobile browser can render HTML5 websites.

He fired up a device running Microsoft's new Windows Phone "Mango" update with IE9 installed and then started an HTML5 speed test benchmarking the Mango device against the iPhone 4 and the Google Nexus S.

Early this morning Gizmodo spotted what might be the craziest iPhone accessory I've seen yet. Creating steering-wheel attachments for iOS devices is nothing new, in fact, we reviewed one a while back and found that it basically added nothing to the experience aside from a piece of plastic to lug around. For 1,599 (roughly $19 USD) you can now get a steering wheel with with speakers that are actually powered by a Nokia battery (sold separately, oddly enough).

Even though the whole steering wheel attachment thing might not add that much to the game, I can't help but think a (comparatively) huge set of powered speakers hooked up to your iPhone 4 while playing a game like Real Racing 2 [$6.99] might do something for you. Although that "something" might just amount to annoying everyone nearby.

I'm sure that more than one person would have wanted their iPhone 4 to be white, but since its launch the only available colour was black. As rumor has it, starting next week we might see in every Apple store the much anticipated white iPhones 4 finally. The iPhone 4 wasn't available in white because of manufacturing issues, there were problems with the white paint being easily peeled off, especially under heat, but now it seems that Apple has fixed these problems so we might see the iPhone 4 in white soon.

The white iPhone 4 will be available from both AT&T and Verizon Wireless in the US by the end of April in case rumors prove itself to be true. I'm sure that many users will want to buy the new white iPhone 4 if it does arrive later this month. As Apple prepares to launch the white iPhone 4, the rumor mills have started to talk about a possible delay in the release of the iPhone 5 which many are expecting this summer.
