Commodore 64 was one of the legendary home computers in the 80s that had a huge impact on the world market but other computers such as PC replaced it soon after. However, Commodore 64 isnt dead yet and it seems that Commodore will hit the market once again.

The latest news shows that Commodore USA will release improved version of the popular 8-bit computer called Commodore PC64. The new model, Commodore PC64 wont be a 8-bit machine like its predecessor and it will use the latest hardware instead.
Intel Atom processor will power this computer and it will use up to 4GB DDR3 RAM. With those components Commodore PC64 will be able to achieve amazing performances, but thats not all. This computer will use SATA 1TB hard drive that will provide you enough space for all your needs. As for the multimedia, Commodore PC64 will have HDMI output so youll be able to connected it with a HDTV and enjoy in multimedia to the fullest. Optical drive is included and you can choose between DVD/CD and optional Blu-ray.
As you can see, Commodore PC64 will have great hardware specs but the most interesting thing about this device is that it will come with the original chassis of the old Commodore 64. So far, no information about pricing is available but were expecting to see this computer before the end of the year.
