HTC recently announced the Desire HD, which is their new flagship Android device. A lot of carriers are taking interest in Desire HD, and Vodafone Australia and Three Australia are the carriers who will bring the Desire HD to Australia, while Telstra and Optus may take the Desire Z. No words on the price of the Desire HD and Desire, but Vodafone could offer the Desire HD for free on select plans, and may be they will launch it anytime next month.

Desire HD is a really powerful phone which features a 1GHz processor, 768MB of RAM, Android 2.2 with new Sense UI, 4.3 inch WVGA touchscreen display, HSPA, Wi-Fi, GPS, 8MP camera, and HD video recording.

T-Mobile UK is also carrying the HTC Desire HD, and they will launch it next month. I think that other UK carriers will pick the Desire HD or Z soon, because both phones are specially made for UK and Asian market, and I am sure that Vodafone UK will announce it soon !
