Leica is used to cracking jokes. Well, for many this could easily be tagged as 'class' but when you do it multiple times then it looks like being overly done. An age old company launches one limited edition gadget and people buy it understood.
What when the same company starts to launch multiple limited edition gadgets and wants its customers to buy all of them if they love to 'keep' (and not use) such limited edition gadgets. Leica's Nieman Marcus Edition M9 is part of another such limited edition gadgets list.

A full suite of Adobe® Photoshop® Lightroom® 3 digital editing software, a personal letter from Leica CEO Alfred Schopf and certificate of authenticity, are included. The Leica M9 Neiman Marcus Edition can be personally delivered by a Leica photography expert, which would also include a private training and orientation session to introduce new photographers to the full Leica experience (only available in the continental US).

Leica's Nieman Marcus Edition M9 could be tagged as a Christmas gift to Leica's customers and loyal fans but the company will release only 50 units of this pricey and expensive gadget. The camera is wrapped in brown ostrich leather giving it an even more superior traditional Leica classy look.
