You may have heard random rumors about N9, but this is the latest one. With Mobile World Congress which is taking place in mid-February which almost near, the discussion is getting all heated up.

Mynokiablog got tip'd that a Finnish site, prosessor.fi reckons that the N9 is going to run on Intel's hardware and surprisingly it may be the firm's first phone that supports LTE . More on that after being translated from Suomi :

The device should have a Intel's Atom

"We have hard data," according to N9 of the processor clock speed of 1.2 gigahertz, or it would be Nokia's fastest mobile processor to date. If the rumors are true, N9 beats to the table many "first". First MeeGo, the first atom, and hopefully the company's first LTE network, a working model.

So the source said that Nokia N9 will be the first Nokia smartphone to sport a 1.2 GHz CPU. There are lots of confusion whether N9 uses a ARM TI OMAP processor or Intel's Atom processor or the Moorestown platform .We haven't got any official confirmation. Though we believe that MWC would be a lot more than just exciting. And we got more info about the N9, hold your breath its exquisite!

N9 may also feature

  • 4.2-inch AMOLED display
  • 1600mAh battery
  • 1GB ROM
  • 768MB RAM
  • 12-megapixel camera with Carl Zeiss Optics
  • GPS, Wi-Fi
  • 64GB storage
  • Slide out QWERTY keyboard

So is this just the kind of phone that every geek would dream about? And 12MP Carl Zeiss sensor is sure one thing that many cameraphone lovers would love to see, and N8 has already proved excellent with the camera as you all know. Also, we had learnt from Nokia's new CEO Stephen Elop that Nokia's first MeeGo device 'will be a 2011 event'. So timing? Anyhow the excitement is building up and good things have started to show up. This may be Nokia's last and best chance to enter in to the high-end smartphone market with this beast and with a bang again!

FoneArena will be there at MWC and we're really thrilled about this piece of news. We hope the rumors above are true. We are looking forward for a great event. Good luck Nokia.

Last year at MWC , Nokia and Intel announced their partnership for the formation of MeeGo.
