One of the coolest things of using an Android device / tablet is the opportunity for rooting and flashing custom kernels and overclocking the device to see what limit it can get pushed to. Thanks to XDA member coolbho3000, in this video tutorial below, you'll see how you could give your brand new Motorola Xoom the 1.5GHz overclocking treatment you want.
Watch the Xoom's already fast 1GHz dual core Tegra 2 processor get overclocked to 1.5GHz with my custom kernel. The result is substantial speed increases in both benchmarks and real world situations. All you need is root access to install the kernel. I've also recently updated SetCPU for dual core support (2.1.1a).
