In case you're worried about the Flash Player exploit that has been going around for a few days, you can now get some relief since this exploit has now been patched by Adobe.

In case you don't know, this exploit utilizes authplay.dll in Adobe Reader and Adobe Acrobat, to take control over your computer. In case that this exploit fails to take control over your system, you would encounter a system crash.

What makes this exploit so dangerous is that its present on all sorts of platforms, so all users of Flash can be affected. As for the update, Adobe has applied a security update to Flash Player, Acrobat and to the most updated version of Adobe Reader. However, Adobe Acrobat X will have to wait for its update because it has a security sandbox that prevents such code from executing, and therefore this exploit cannot affect it.

Anyhow, since this issue is resolved, you're advised to update your current version of the Flash Player to the latest release.
