Dell has launched quietly and without too much fuss a new 11.6-inch netbook Dell Inspiron M102z. It is built on the same chassis as the Dell Inspiron M101z, the only difference being the platform and processors.

The M101z Inspiron comes with AMD Athlon II Neo K125 (single core) or AMD Athlon II Neo K325 (dual core). The newly launched Dell Inspiron M102z gives you a choice between Zacate E-350 processors with Radeon HD 6310 graphics card or C-50 with Ontario Radeon HD 6250 graphics card. The display is a 11.6-inch diagonal, 1366 x 768 and is not glossy.
The model comes in either 2 or 4 GB of DDR3 RAM, 320GB hard drive 7200 rpm, 1.3MP webcam, 802.11b / g Wi-Fi, bluetooth (3.0 + HS optional), and SRS surround sound with Windows 7 Home Premium at 64-bit, while TV tuner is an optional addon. Now about the ports, the M102z comes with three USB 2.0 ports, RJ-45 10/100 LAN, HDMI and a 7-in-1 card reader. The Dell Inspiron M102z will cost $555, a pretty decent portable laptop that certainly packs a punch.
