Sony Ericsson finally announced the first Android Walkman phone, the Sony Ericsson W8. We did hear rumours of an Android Walkman phone and also about Sony Ericsson planning to bring back their famous Walkman series. And the guess was right, with Android OS being a dominant platform, this was always on the cards to bring about an Walkman series phone.

Sony Ericsson W8 will be available in China, Hong Kong, Indonesia, India, Malaysia, Philippines, Singapore, Taiwan, Thailand and Vietnam starting from Q2 2011. There is� no word on the pricing of the phone as of now.
