A few of the details of the upcoming DROID3 smartphone have been leaked. The leaked details were from a benchmark� spotted over at Nenamark.

The DROID3 will be heading for the Verizon network in USA and it will be sporting a display with qHD resolution (960�540 pixels). It will be using an Imagination Technologies' PowerVR SGX 540 GPU.

It will not feature a Tegra 2 processor like the Atrix does but instead come equipped with a dual core processor from Texas Instruments (OMAP 4430) ticking at 1 GHz.

We believe that the device is a prototype and was running Gingerbread at the time of testing.
