LG Optimus One is the company's largest selling Android handset. LG managed to sell more than 1 million units of Optimus One in just 40 days. This handset originally runs on the Android 2.2 (Froyo) Operating System. Last year, soon after the launch of Android 2.3 (Gingerbread) OS, LG said that, the LG Optimus One will receive the Android Gingerbread update in the coming months. Now, the wait is finally over!

The guys living in Romania have finally started receiving the Android 2.3.3 update for their LG Optimus One. The latest update is working fine for everyone and there are no major issues, except some minor issue with the proximity sensor, which turns the screen off on a larger distance during a phone call. Some people are facing problem, since the screen stays off and you cannot hit the End Call button after ending your conversation.

LG Optimus One features a 3.2 inch touchscreen display with 320 � 480 pixel resolution, 600 MHz processor, Android 2.2 (Froyo) Operating System, 3 megapixel camera with auto-focus, Wi-Fi connectivity, Compass, GPS and A-GPS, 3.5mm audio jack, stereo FM radio, 3G connectivity, 170 MB internal memory, 512 MB RAM, 32 GB expandable memory, LG App Advisor, 1500 mAh battery and so on.
