Skype is one of the leading software applications used to make voice and video calls over the internet. Last year, Skype officially brought video calling to Apple iPhone 4 which is actually first iPhone to have a front facing camera and it allowed users to do video chatting over Wi-Fi as well as 3G. At the moment, Skype application is not available for Apple iPad but it looks like it's coming soon as Skype first posted the Skype for iPad promo video on their YouTube channel but then they pulled it but Razorianfly fortunately recorded the video and made it available for us to check it out, although there is no audio but video is good enough to give us an idea about how Skype looks on iPad, right? Folks over at TUAW had a little talk with Skype VP of Consumer and Product Design Rick Osterloh about the Skype app for iPad and he said that it's coming to the app store in few weeks. Also All Things D is conforming it that Skype for iPad will be out next week. Anyway, stay tuned with us because we will keep you updated when it will come out. Check out the promo video after the break:

So iPad users, are you excited that Skype will be hitting your iPad soon?
