Prepare for your Honeycomb tab � type faster with Swiftkey Tablet app

In a world where tablets are so popular, the greatest weakness of tablets realised by many is the lack of a physical keyboard, great if your aim is all about convenience but not if you want to type at a decent speed. You will no doubt remember when we first featured the Swiftkey app for Android, a fantastic application that makes use of a unique word prediction technology.

The latest release by TouchType called Swiftkey Tablet is another Android app but has been specifically made for the many soon-to-come Android Honeycomb tablets. The SwiftKey tablet app will come in the form of a holographic keyboard with custom skinning and a 10.1-inch thumb layout that makes it easier for two-handed typists. The more it is used, the more it learns about its user's typing pattern which eventually means greater accuracy in word prediction. The SwiftKey tablet app is expected to make an appearance at the MWC.

HP Topaz webOS Tablet Teaser Video Released

Last month, HP sent invites for its HP webOS event in San Francisco, where the first webOS tablet will be launched. And now, HP has created a new teaser site with a countdown timer until the launch of HP Topaz on February 9th. The teaser site shows a modified tagline "Think big. Think Small. Think Ahead. think Beyond." Along with that, HP also released a new teaser video of its upcoming tablet.

According to the leaked specs, HP Topaz will feature a 9.7 inch touchscreen display with 1024 x 768 pixels resolution, 1.2 GHz Dual-core Qualcomm MSM8660 processor, Integrated Adreno 220 GPU, 512MB DDR2 memory, 1.3 megapixel front-facing camera for Video Chat, 2 integrated speakers with Beats Audio, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 2.1 + EDR, Accelerometer, eCompass, Light Sensor, 3.5mm audio jack and a 3150 mAh battery.

HP Topaz is expected to come in 16GB, 32GB and 64GB versions. The complete specs of this device will be revealed next week at the HP webOS event. Till then, check out the teaser video of HP Topaz below.

&#39;Speedball 2: Evolution&#39; Coming This Month, Screens & Video

Back in October we reported that, in what will surely be a dream-come-true for a sizable swath of oldschool iOS gamers, Tower Studios and Vivid Games, in association with The Bitmap Brothers, announced that future sports classic Speedball 2 would be making its way to the App Store in the form of Speedball 2: Evolution. We're happy to now be able to add a good bit of detail � along with screenshots and a trailer video � to this excellent news, thanks to a recent release by Tower Games.

The original Speedball 2: Brutal Deluxe, which was first released for the Atari ST back in 1990, was just awesome. It was a sequel to the original, superb Speedball, that was just better in every way. (Some readers with fewer years of gaming under their belts might be familiar with the 2007 XBLA release of the title.)�Speedball 2: Evolution, as the name might suggest, takes the game even farther, bringing quick-play, league and cup tournaments, a detailed career mode, along with multiplayer support.

"This is the best version of Speedball 2 since the original and the best remake of any classic title available on the App Store," creative director and Tower Games CEO John Hare, who earlier brought us Sensible Soccer, assures us.

"Speedball 2: Evolution is the most comprehensive game in the series, and a real programming masterpiece thanks to the amazing efforts of Vivid Games. To existing fans this is a classic remake, to the new generation this is a fantastic modern game in it's own right. It marks the first arrival of a Bitmap Brothers classic to the iPhone, iPod touch and iPad � expect to see many more classic titles re-mastered and updated by us in the future."

Some of the Speedball 2: Evolution features, as listed by Tower Games:

Speedball 2: Evolution will be available in the App Store later this month (price not yet determined). And, this is only the beginning of the retro goodness. Tower Games intends to release a series of remakes of classic Bitmap Brothers games for iOS gamers.

The Bitmap Brothers, in years past, also brought us Xenon II, Gods, The Chaos Engine, Cadaver, and Magic Pockets.

Facebook is now the world&#39;s second most valuable internet company

You probably know that Facebook is the most popular site in the United States, but have you wondered how much Facebook is actually worth? Latest research tells us that Facebook is now the second most valuable internet company in the world.


According to Bloomberg, it seems that Facebook is the second most valuable internet company, right after Google. Previously, Facebook was in third place behind Amazon and Google, but now Facebook stands second, valued at $82.9 billion. As for no.1 � search engine, Google is valued at �$192 billion. We must mention that Facebook's most noticeable jump in value came from 1.5$ billion investment from Goldman Sachs that was made in January.

These are all interesting results, but the question remains, will Facebook ever outpace Google when it comes to value? Sure, Facebook might be more popular in United States than Google, but Facebook is still far from it when it comes to the overall value.
