Samsung just announced the retail launch of its smartphone flagship , the Galaxy SII. The Android Gingerbread powered handset runs on a 1.2Ghz dual-core Exynos processor.

The phone has been priced at Rs. 32,890 and will be available first via Vodafone. Widespread retail availability is said to start from 9th June however consumers can pre-order the device starting 26th May. Vodafone subscribers will receive 1Gb of free 3G data for six months.

The model being launched in India is the 16GB model which Samsung India confirms to come with integrated NFC. �Box contents will include a leather flip case. MHL based accessories including USB OTG and HDMI cables will be available shortly.
