Chris Malloy is enthusiast from Australia, and he is working hard on a first real hoverbike. Unlike those hoverbikes from movies that use pretty advanced technology, this hoverbike relies on two ducted propellers that are powered by a 1,170 cubic centimeter 4-stroke engine.

Although this technology might seem primitive to some people, this hoverbike can achieve speeds of approximately 173 miles per hour and altitude of 10,000 feet. Of course, this is just a theory since this hoverbike exists only as a prototype, and before its first flight it needs to have a safety check.

As for the creator of this hoverbike, Chris hopes that hoverbike will go into limited production next year, and it will cost about $40,000. Maybe the best thing about this hoverbike is that you won't need a pilot license for it, if you can afford it.
