Panasonic like always has taken initiative to come up with something that hardly exists in todays market. They have come up with six new DVRs that will have HDD and blue-ray recorders with them and will boast the latest technology namely BDXL which is a true added advantage but wasnt available from any other brands up til now.
But, now it is Also, please remember that 3 of the 6 devices launched by Samsung are 3D enabled which makes these gadgets worth a shot.
The three models of the so called DMR series wont come with the much wanted 3D technology. There will be two models with 500 GB HDD which is why these will cost you $1,060 and $1,300 respectively. Well, if you think that 500 gig wont do much for you and if you want to double the HDD size then you must gear up to spend $1780 for a 1 TB HDD. Please be sure to use this huge disk space otherwise there is no point in spending so much cash.
Panasonic will be charging $120 extra for DVRs that will have 3D feature in them while the other specifications will stay the same. The 500 GB model of the DMR-BWT series will cost you around $1420 while the price of 1TB DVR will touch $1900 in that case. For the super hungry ones Panasonic has come up with a 2TB model which will burn a hole as huge as $3300 in your pocket. If you want more then you got to pay more
