We knew that it was right on our heads. Call it rumors or call it unofficial announcements but Windows Phone 7 has finally come out of the hiding and that too within October itself. Microsoft took the decision to take a backseat in the world of smartphones and launch their style of smartphone after alot of market research. Looks like they have come up with something that is different and that is easy to use but it might be just a bit late.

I am not a anti-windows guy but I cannot go all the way to support Windows Phone 7 and Microsoft's strategies when they seem to have failed. In the world of Blackberries and Apple iPhones, Windows Phone 7 could well be in its infant stages. Days are close by when Blackberry will come up with new features and Apple will launch something that leave the planet lost and at that time Microsoft might just be boasting of their simple to use Windows Phone 7.

Windows Phone 7 has everything right on its screen and customisable as per customer's needs but will you switch? Numerous smart phones have launched in the last year and I'm sure many have already been tempted by these, especially Androids by HTC and Motorola and as such would be attached to a new usual two year contract. To summarise Windows Phone 7 will surely need some magic to attract people to give it a shot.
