We all like to tweet, and we send several tweets per day, but not all folks love Twitter and tweeting. One person that won't tweet for a while is Cheng Jianping from China. Twitter might be great, but Cheng Jianping got sentenced to one year of labor camp thanks to it.

Cheng Jianping was sentenced to one year in labor camp for retweeting a tweet from herfiancéHua Chunhui. Apparently Hua mocked Chinese protesters who destroyed Japanese products, and Cheng added a few comments on his tweet, and therefore she was taken by the police. To make things worse, both of them were taken by the police on their wedding day. Hua was released five days later while hisfiancéCheng has been sentenced to one year of labor camp due to disturbing of social stability.

Hua says that all of this was a satire, but Chinese government doesn't like jokes with this sort of things, so before tweeting again, make sure that you don't offend anyone with your jokes on Twitter.
