Here's something that'll make you say, "Uh, what?" It's the teaser trailer for Perfect Cell, the next iOS title from Edge [$1.99] and Cross Fingers' [$1.99] developer Mobigames. At first glance, you might think it's Shadow Complex sans Nolan North. We did, at least. But after a bit of digging, we've discovered that Perfect Cell is nothing of the sort.

The IGF 2011 listing for Perfect Cell fills in some of the gaps. That pink octopus-alien-thing is a cell, the "most advanced creature ever discovered on Earth." In the game, you'll control up to three of these unusual creatures in an attempt to escape a submarine. You'll run into puzzles, enraged guards, and need to keep a low-profile at times by exploring the game's infiltration mechanics.

Here's the full listing, which while helpful, is still pretty abstract:

"Play as the most advanced creature ever discovered on Earth. You are trapped in a high security submarine base and you must use your superpowers to escape from this hostile environment; dodge lasers and AK-47 bullets, solve puzzles to progress and try to survive the many other dangerous and deadly traps.

Play through an original story that uniquely combines the best of action and infiltration games. Use intuitive, multi-touch gameplay; play as up to 3 Cells on the same screen, dash through the air with a swipe gesture or cut off your enemies' heads with a 'draw and dash'! Use your mind to find your way out covertly or, if you prefer, use fast-paced action gameplay to kill every scientist and soldier in your path. You are the Perfect Cell!"

What's with the lack of info? Our guess is that Mobi wants to build up a significant amount of pre-release hype, which makes sense consider how fast the App Store moves. The good news is that the wait to see what Perfect Cell is won't be too long at the end of the teaser, Mobi notes that the game is coming "soon" to the iPad and iPhone. We'll get our hands on it as soon as we can, that's for sure.

Lufthansa will be the first airline to offer in-flight internet access on intercontinental routes. The service will be offered under the banner FlyNet in partnership with Panasonic Avionics. FlyNet will be initially available only on select North Atlantic routes but they plan to offer it on the airline's entire intercontinental network by end of 2011.All you need is a WiFi enabled device be it a laptop , iPad , iPhone , iPod , Blackberry or any Smartphone and you can browse the web in the middle of a boring and tiring flight.
The service is expected to offer Download speeds upto 5 Mbps and upload speeds upto 1Mbps . GSM services such as SMS and GPRS will be available soon and you can send text messages or your phone's data plan inside the flight.

This is how the service works according to an illustration on the company's website.

The service will be initially available on Airbus A330 Aircrafts and will be soon available on the Boeing 747 and Airbus 340. And the best part is that the service is not restricted to business class but available to all passengers who are willing to pay.The price would be around 11 euros for 1 hr access to internet and a 24 hr flat fee would be around 20 euros. Not bad at all if you ask me especially if you are addicted to the internet like most of us.Imagine downloading that new app while in the sky or Twitpicking from the top of the Swiss Alps. You gotta love technology ! Don't you ?

And as a introductory offer the service will remain free till Jan 2011.

Last month Ngmoco launched its first person shooter Star Wars: Imperial Academy [free], but in Canada only. Last night the game finally arrived in most other markets around the world (with the apparent exception of Japan, right now).

As we said in our initial report, with Star Wars: Imperial Academy, Ngmoco appears to be going for what's more or less Eliminate with a heavy layer of Star Wars plastered on top. The game's feature list can be found on the Ngmoco website.

Now that the title is available (pretty much) everywhere, we will shortly be posting a closer look.
