Last weekend, approximately 2 billion people around the world witnessed the marriage of Prince William and his beautiful wife Kate Middleton. An event that certainly goes down in history, and even I took work aside and watched the happy couple.

We here at Fone Arena, together with the great people of Proporta, Designer & manufacturer of award winning gadget accessories since 1996, got together and prepared a nice little giveaway for all of our fans, the Royal Wedding Giveaway! We asked you to recommend a phone for William and Kate, with the funniest or most original comments winning one of four special design iPhone4 cases by Proporta.

Me and the team got together, going through all the comments, and let me tell you, picking the best 4 comments was not easy, since all of you had some really nice ideas. The clear winner, as far as phones go, was the iPhone4, but who are the lucky winners? Here we go:

Samarjeet Borooah: i would recommend the iphone 4 for Kate because its sleek, its sexy, its unbelievably stylish and of course the unbeatable iOS and the Samsung Galaxy S2 for William because its an awesome mix of functionality, high-end technology, class and style.

Randy: I will recomend prince Willam and Kate the phone NOKIA N8, because this phone can easily record all the happy moment of prince Willam and Kate, even thier wedding. And they can watch thier video on a wide screen because of the feature of this phone that it has a tv out put. Congratulation to prince Willam and Kate. And live happily ever forever.

Vinay: East or West C7 is the best and the sexiest.

And last but not least, and this is my personal favourite too:

Rahul Sharma: i would suggest Micromax Q55 Bling , which will be perfect cheapest smartphone for them as they already spent 80 million $ on their wedding Budget

Congratulations to all the lucky winners, all of you did a really nice job here! All winners will be contacted via e-mail shortly, we'll send out the cases as soon as possible!

Once again, we'd like to thank Proporta for providing us with those awesome iPhone4 cases and giving us the opportunity for this giveaway!!

Recently, we told you that HTC is now rolling out Android 2.3 for HTC Desire HD and Incredible S. Both devices are amazing and Gingerbread will make the experience even better. But this news made all Desire Z users disappointed, because we heard that Desire HD, Desire Z and Incredible S, all will receive the Gingerbread in the same timeframe. But Desire Z users, don't worry because HTC cares a lot about you. On their UK support page, HTC officially announced that Desire Z will receive it by the end of June. Have a look what HTC said:

Back at MWC, HTC announced several new phones and also the successor to HTC Wildfire, which is known as Wildfire S. Wildfire S features a new design as compared to Wildfire but the size is almost same. The device is already available for purchase in UK but when it's coming to USA? Well, our friends over at Tmo-News got their hands on the images of HTC Marvel, which is actually Wildfire S. They are reporting that this device will hit T-Mobile USA later this summer. It's a mid-range Android powered phone and I think that it will hit T-Mobile along with HTC Sensation. Sensation is a dual-core phone, which is extremely powerful and beautiful as well. But if you are looking forward to a budget phone, then Marvel isn't a bad choice. It comes with a3.2? screen and 800 MHz snapdragon processor. Both devices were caught in action at a T-Mobile store and they are missing T-Mobile branding, but putting T-Mobile branding doesn't take ages. I think it's an early prototype model, and I am pretty sure that it will hit T-Mobile and will bring a better choice to customers.

So who's looking forward to HTC Marvel, anyone?

Earlier this week we took a look at the upcoming multiplayer dual-stick shooter Deadlock from Crescent Moon and Invulse Games, and today we have the first trailer which shows the game in action. Deadlock will feature matches that can be played with up to 8 players online using Game Center in modes such as Deathmatch, Team Deathmatch, and Capture & Hold.

In addition, there will be a fairly extensive upgrading system for your player. The 30 different weapons in the game will have various unlockable attachments which can alter their performance, and your character can equip armor pieces that offer different attributes and abilities. Many of these items and weapons will unlock as you achieve the 30 available ranks in the game through play.

Take a look at the first teaser trailer for Deadlock, which actually is quite a tease but does show off a good bit of gameplay:

Crescent Moon and Invulse are aiming to have Deadlock out by late June, and based on my time with a preview version of the game it's definitely one to keep your eye out for if you enjoy dual-stick shooters and competitive online play. There's a lengthy discussion thread in our forums where both developers have been chiming in with additional details, and we'll have more on Deadlock as it nears its release sometime next month.

One of the strongest entries in an overcrowded castle defense genre is Liv Games' Legendary Wars [Free]. We reviewed Legendary Wars back when it launched during Macworld in January, and found it to be highly enjoyable due to the variety of gameplay types, interesting upgradeable abilities, and wonderful artwork. Liv Games didn't stop there, either, and offered up a substantial update to the game in March that added Retina Display support, Game Center integration, and a number of other enhancements and optimizations.

Legendary Wars is a game that seems like it would lend itself very well to the larger screen of the iPad, and indeed many players in our forums have been enjoying the game a lot just playing on the iPad in 2x pixel doubled mode. There's no need for that anymore, however, as the iPad native Legendary Wars HD [99] is now available. It's essentially the same exact game content-wise, but the bigger screen allows more of the battlefield to be shown, requiring less scrolling and giving you a better view for planning your strategy.

Legendary Wars HD looks and plays wonderfully with a properly formatted screen and native resolution graphics for the iPad. As a special launch promotion, and as a bonus for current owners of the game who may want to double dip with the iPad version, Legendary Wars HD can be purchased for just 99 through the weekend. Plus, if you don't already have the iPhone/iPod touch version, you can currently pick that up for free this weekend as well. It goes without saying that you should definitely give the regular version a download while free, and if you own an iPad then Legendary Wars HD is an easy recommendation at the launch price of 99.
