News was that Toshiba was working hard on 3D TV and laptops that will display 3D without 3D glasses. We did not hear much from Toshiba or any other source since then but again it seems like related news has started to pour in. Toshiba seems to working on the unique idea of adjustable 3D display that will adjust itself as per the viewing angle of the viewer.

3D technology is still in its evolving stages with every organization trying something new or the other but none till now could come up with a solution for the narrow viewing angle that the viewer enjoys. A little movement and the display would look more than just 3D. Broken, in short!

Toshiba seems to have heard the prayers of 3D lovers and is working on the self adjusting display technology that can make life a lot easier than before for 3D world. Toshiba will be using a six-axis accelerometer in their 12.1 inches Internet tablet using which the company will tilt the viewing angle with the tilt in the tablet. This will let the 3D viewers look around 3D objects on the rest of the screen without distortions. This technology will use software algorithms instead of fancy hardware stuff that others have been trying to use.

The recent profile revamp by Facebook wasreceivedby mixed bag of feelings from people around the planet. On one side people still seem to busy busy discussing what else could have been added into the new profile design of Facebook while on the other side there are some artistic brains that have come up with profile innovations that are simply amazing.

Alexandre Oudin, a French artist, seems to have come up with a uniquely designed Facebook profile which might just become the next big thing for every Facebook user. Once you observe the image above then all that you get to see that it is a set of images that has been well cropped and placed at right places to make it look like a background image over which the Facebook profile shows.

This profile by Alexandre Oudin very well uses the new feature introduced by Facebook where the latest 5 tagged photographs of the respective user show in the top of his/her profile page.

Though the overly simple blue+white page of Facebook sometimes proves to be a bit boring for people who are on a high still I think with innovations of above style the newly introduced Facebook page is also going to get plenty of fame plus demand.

Most of the times broadband has been used as a brand name to lure customers but nobody actually cared about the way it was being heavily used by companies. Now, with latest data from FCC out into the public, it looks like the situation might just be going out of hand for United States of America.

"The FCC continues its practice of releasing highly flawed and misleading analysis about the broadband marketplace that grossly overstates the level of broadband competition. The shortcomings in this report are inexcusable and suggest that Chairman Genachowski's commitment to run a 'data-driven' agency is thus far just an empty slogan.

"In 2008, the Commission made major changes to its broadband data collection practices. The new data was intended to allow the agency to examine the relationship between market concentration and broadband quality, price and adoption. But instead, the FCC continues to fail to take advantage of this information, choosing to publish misleading analysis in the same mold as the widely criticized reports released under Chairman Michael Powell and Chairman Kevin Martin.

Along with the news of 68 percent Internet connections in US having speed below 4 Mbps the reports also reveals that by the second half of 2009 the mobile wireless market had grown to 52 million with the mobile wireless technology leading internet connectivity above 200kbps when compared to that of cable modems and ADSLs.

Though the pretty lengthy heading above explains it all yet we will have to get down to some details to understand what exactly has happened over here. With the end of upcoming month of January the end of KIN will become a reality. This will affect all (the two to four out there) the KIN customers who will lose the ability to do anything over-the-air.

Though the customers will still be able to send messages, send email and even stream music via Zune Pass but their formally shininghome screenswill freeze. People will end up losing their online repository of photos, videos and contacts though they can be backed up before January 31st.

Though the news might bedisappointingto many regular KIN users out there yet Verizon thinks that offering a new phone to them might just make them content. As a result Verizon is happy to offer any 3G smartphone by March 31st in return of the surprisingly disappointing news that has suddenly popped in for the regular KIN users.

Does that mean another contract on the shoulders of KINcustomersunder the disguise of the free phone that is being offered?

Though we are not sure regarding the authenticity of this news yet it was exciting enough for us to leave a mention of the same. HTC's EVO Shift 4G has just now leaked into the market with a release date of 9th January. Missing the holiday season by such a small time period does not make any sense to me but I guess HTC somehow didn't want to get lost in the holiday bubble.

The Knight/Shift 4G phone will be a slide out QWERTY keypad smartphone but won't have a front facing camera as can be guessed from the image above. If the image above is true to itself then the HTC EVO Shift 4G phone will have a silver trackpad with the not-so-bulgingkeys that might make your life a bitmiserable. We are still waiting for more images to understand the smartphonecompletely.

The more or less plastic looking phone in image above might well be just a dummy phone but with related news on different websites we are very sure that the yet-to-be-announced HTC EVO Shift 4G is surely round the corner. We will keep you updated.

Sounds weird? So it did to me too but the news seems to be true. Science has always thought out of the box to come up with better and improvised technology that will at the end of the day enhance the daily activities of all humans. Thinking on the same lines scientists have been trying hard to attract required tiny particles towards the surface of plates inside the battery.

There have been attempts of using graphene to improve battery performance but using plant eating bacteria for the same purposes is surely touching limits of innovation. People out there in University of Maryland are trying to use Tobacco Mosaic Virus (the so called TMV) so as to generate usable patterns of nano rods on the surface of already existing electrodes.

University of Maryland modified the germ and left it to do what it is best at. The surface was be coated with conductive film which did help in increasing the capacity of the battery by 10 times. Though it might be bit hard (and weird) to understand how a bacteria does its thingwithoutthe availability of major resources on which it usuallysurvivesbut it just seems to be doing well to increase the capacity of our batteries.

Well, nothing much has popped in since the news of Motorola's split into two different organizations which was suppoed to benefit the customers as well as the company on the whole. Though we don't have any important numbers for you to explain the split but we do have a new cover for the upcoming Motorola organization. The new Motorola Logo and it is all red!

Though a change of color in the current logo won't do much difference for the organization on the whole yet we are pretty much sure that Motorola is all set to give its customers the completely new feel of the upcoming organization.

The colorful logo is surely going to help Motorola Mobility get in touch with its customers who happen to enjoy most of the handheld devices launched by the organization. The Solutions group should be more seriously hell bent into business section of the organization.

We are right now not sure about any other major shuffling that is about to happen within the organization but we are sure that things are happening quiet fast within the organization so as to handle the biggest decision in the history of Motorola.

Never afraid to try something awesome, my good Friend Chris Stobbs took his Nokia N8 out for a dive lately. Yes, a dive! He explains in the Video Info that "This is a video I created using only the N8 and an overboard underwater case. All editing was done on the N8." I love it, and if anyone wanna gift me a ticket to fly to Australia and join Chris in THAT awesome looking water, i would definitely appreciate this! :)
