T-Mobile officially launched myTouch 4G last year, which is a good looking device and currently exclusive to T-Mobile in USA. Now it looks like T-Mobile and HTC are gearing up to launch the successor to myTouch 4G and it will be known as myTouch 4G Slide. Our friends over at BGR got their hands on some images of myTouch 4G Slide, which is codenamed as Doubleshot and it'sactuallyjust like myTouch 4G in design, but the new addition is the QWERTY keyboard. The device is running Android 2.3.4 along with HTC Sense UI, and BGR source claims that this device is as smooth as the HTC Sensation and way better than its predecessor. The phone features an 8 MP camera and there is also a shiny metal back cover, I am sure that camera is capable enough to record HD videos. There is also a front-facing camera as we can see in the image above. The Android navigation buttons are better and softer than one on myTouch 4G and QWERTY keyboard keys are also squishy like the one on G2. It's expected that T-Mobile will launch this device in July first or second week, so stay tuned.

Well friends, that's all we know about the next myTouch. Are you interested in getting one next month?

Everyone loves to get their hands on their favorite gadgets one day when they have enough money to afford it or you love it so much and sell out your kidney for it? Well, a teenager in China named Zheng is something more than huge fan of Apple iPad2 and he sold his kidney to buy it because hecouldn'tafford it. He sold his kidney for an amount of 2000 pound sterling so he could buy an iPad2. Kidney is one of the most important organs of our body, and thousands of people die every year because of kidney failure. He actually sold his kidney to some underground organ traffickers who offered him huge amount of 20,000 yuan, and this amount is equal to $3,000 or 2,000. As the boy is young, he thought this is the best way to get money rapidly by selling one of his organs which is more important than he think. Now you would be wondering that where was his family when this all happened? Actually, Zheng did this without telling anyone, and when his mother found out that his boy had a dangerous surgery, he contacted the local police and complained. They are still searching the traffickers involved in this disturbing accident. Zheng is now feeling ill and his health is getting worse.

Well people, would you sell your kidney for your favorite gadget? I am sure you wouldn't, but these types of accidents are happening everywherenowadaysespecially with teenagers. I love iPad2, but what Zheng did is not love, its craziness. So young boys, watch out because organ traffickers are always targeting teenagers. Anyway, tell us what you think in the comment section below.

If you're a Gmail user, you may be aware that since 2007, users have been unable to access their AIM account via Google Talk, meaning they were unable to message Google Talk accounts with AIM accounts and vice versa. Luckily for both sides, Google and AOL have decided to make some changes with Gmail Chat and AIM so they could work together at last. Now both AIM and Google users can send messages to one another regardless of which service and client they're using.

In addition, Gmail users can now add AOL users without a problem with a single click simply by adding @aol.com to the end of the AIM contact name. And now, since Gmail users are able to add AIM users right from Gmail, Google has decided to remove the AIM sign in feature from Gmail.

Alright, this is nuts.

Little Big Planet 2 was released for the PS3 in early 2011, and much like the original Little Big Planet, came loaded with an extensive custom level creation suite. These custom levels are available for download online, and while some of them are fairly creative, I haven't seen anything like this:

If you've got a PS3, Little Big Planet 2, and PSN happens to be up, you can download this LBP2 custom level by searching for either "Tilt to Live", or just searching by the name of its creator, "MRcheese911". Alternatively, you could just download Tilt to Live on the App Store. It's an absolutely fantastic game that we loved in our review that has only gotten better with updates.

Anyway, I've got to go pick my jaw up off the floor. I didn't even know it was possible to make custom levels like this.

OnLive for iPad has been a long time coming. Worse, news of it has slowed to a trickle since the release of the dodgy "viewer" app [Free]. Yet on the eve of the biggest game show around, things are changing. Earlier this afternoon, Engadget busted out a preview for a new universal micro controller for the service a controller that is said to work with all OnLive enabled devices, which of course, also means the iPad.

This is the coolest innovation we've seen on the OnLive front since getting our hands on an E3 2009 demo of the actual service on an iPad. That experience, however, was kind of a wash Eli was using a jacked version of touch software and noted that it didn't really jive with him, so a controller is definitely a welcome sight. Plus, OnLive's games weren't designed with touch in mind, so a controller is a necessary… well, it's not exactly evil, but a controller certainly go against the grain.

Engadget notes that it was using OnLive and the controller via an HTC Flyer, and for what it's worth, the pairing worked well with little lag. That's neat, right? At E3 we hope to get our hands on a build of the iPad iteration of the software with a controller and we'll be sure to let you know how that goes.

The Fling joysticks for the iPad are fantastic little contraptions. Two suction cups, a conductive joystick, and a cleverly designed plastic spiral all work in perfect harmony to provide a tactile gameplay experience that is absolutely incredible in dual stick shooters. (Or, really, any other game with a virtual joystick.) Also, it seems like every time I post about this we get comment threads full of naysayers. To that I say, if you have any doubt about the Fling, you really need to give 'em a try at any Apple store.

With that out of the way, ever since we originally posted about them for the iPad, gamers with iPhones and iPod touches have been asking when there will be a smaller version for their devices. That day, apparently, is today. The Fling Mini is currently available for preorder. A pair will run you $24.95 and they should start shipping in mid to late July.

We'll have a hands-on of the Fling Mini at some point next week. With all the WWDC and E3 insanity, I'm not entirely sure when we'll have that hands-on, but it's very high on my list of things to check out.

Next week is going to be insane. WWDC. and E3 are both taking place at the same time. If you're a gamer, there's going to be so much news to take in next week that it might take two weeks to read it all.

If you're a developer, there are two ways you can contact me to set up a meeting at either event if you haven't already:

  1. Solve this CAPTCHA to get my Google Talk name (which is also my email address, hence the anti-spam captcha) and shoot me an instant message. I'll be around all day and most of the weekend, and able to get you booked into a meeting slot and collect all pertinent pieces of contact information very quickly.
  2. Send an email to tips@toucharcade.com with either "E3 2011 Meeting" or "WWDC 2011 Meeting" in the subject line so I can filter your message properly. Include what days you're going to be at the event in question, contact info, and anything else you feel is relevant to booking a meeting with us.

Scheduling meetings via IM is highly preferable, since I don't need to play email tag! I can't wait to see everyone next week, and while I'm sure that covering two major gaming events in one week will make all of our collective hairs just a little more grey, it will be worth it.

We told you that Samsung had launched the Samsung Galaxy S II in India and that the phone should be available starting from 9th June and pre-orders began on 26th May. Well now it seems that the pre-orders are already being fulfilled.

This is ahead of schedule and the orders have started from yesterday notably in Delhi. The device comes pre-installed with i9100XWKE8 version firmware while the latest avaialable for update is i9100XWKE7.

Another thing that caught our attention is that the phone does not seem to have NFC functionality as per a test on the ZDevice Test application.

Samsung had promised that India would get the NFC version. While the software could be wrong and the NFC might after all be included, we feel that there is a chance of it being absent as well especially since there's no mention of it at the back of the box where the highlights of the phone are given.

The package is different from the international version, the Indian package seems to be a lot bigger and the Indian customers also get a leather case with the box.

Fans of iOS RPGs have a new one coming soon to look forward to. Developer Minoraxis, most well-known for their Fruit Juice Tycoon series, is taking a stab at the KRPG realm with their upcoming title Fantastic Knight. The game will feature two different playable characters, the young prince Wenrick and the female warrior Erien, each with their own storylines that intertwine with one another.

The battling in Fantastic Knight will be the real-time hack 'n slash variety, with a deep skill system filled with both active and passive abilities to be explored and upgraded. There will also be a large number of weapons, armors, and items to collect and upgrade. One rather interesting inclusion in Fantastic Knight is what the developer calls the Forgotten Continent. It sounds like this will be some sort of survival mode or dungeon trial mode separate from the main campaign that tasks you with completing whole dungeons that have been scaled to your own level and skill set.

Fantastic Knight is already submitted to Apple and waiting for approval, so we should hopefully see it in the next couple of weeks. It will launch at $2.99 as a universal app with Retina Display support. There's a thread in our forums for discussion of the game, and we'll take a look at Fantastic Knight as soon as it launches.
