In the earlier days of computers, 5.25-inch and 3.5-inch floppy disks were only way of transferring data since there were no CDs, DVDs, and USB devices for file transfer. It seems that floppy disks are returning as a medium for file transferring, at least as mods.

Nowadays, the once popular floppy disks have become ancient, but luckily, there's this mod is perfect for those who now and then like abit of nostalgia for the 3.5? inch floppy disks. This mod will allow you to enjoy in that retro look while using the power of USB file transfer. Although this mod sounds interesting, it doesn't look that impressive, since it seems that it is created from several floppy disks that are glued together on top of one another. This might not be the prettiest sight, but it's necessary in order to put the USB connector into the floppy case.

As for this mod, we don't think it will hit the stores anytime soon, but if you're into floppy disks and retro gadgets, you might want to check this mod out and do some DIY yourself

Netflix has been spreading quickly, a lot of talk about the company and how they are becoming bigger and bigger. Netflix is a company which allows you to pay a one time fee per month and you will get the entire Netflix library of streaming movies for that one time fee per month. Netflix is on major gaming consoles like the Xbox 360, PS3 and even the Wii.

Netflix is said to be appearing on "select Android devices" in early 2011. Netflix said they will make Netflix across all Android's but that will be in the future.�Netflix will only be on "select" Android devices because of the security concern with them. So most of the higher end Android phones and tablets will probably have Netflix in 2011, later though all Android phones will get it. They are concerned with piracy issues which is why only "select" models will have Netflix on them. Look for Netflix on Android phones soon to come in 2011.

Kinect for the Xbox 360 is very new and has just been released and is being sold in many stores. In Kinect you are the controller! The Kinect sensor could create many more opportunities for Microsoft to advertise and target an audience for selling video games. Microsoft's Dennis Durkin said

"overtime the Kinect camera's ability to distinguish between different users, and therefore tailor content to each user, will help us be more targeted about what content choices we present; what advertising we present; how we get better feedback and data; about how many people are in a room when an advertisement is shown; how many people are in a room when a game is being played."

The Kinect has sensors, camera and a hearing piece inside of it, meaning Microsoft "could" watch you and listen to what you are saying. This could help them make more targeted games with the audience that are playing. This may sound scary to many, but don't worry that was just an idea that was brought up at a conference. Currently the Kinect does not watch you or listen to you for advertising ideas, for now.

In North America the release date for Gran Turismo 5 will be on November 24th. Sony has given this date as a set date that will not be changed, this is the real release date folks. This is a racing game exclusive for PS3 which will have a 3D compatible engine built in for the 3D TV's. People have been waiting ages for this game to come out on the PS3, and Kazunori Yamauchi said "The wait has been long, but we wanted to create the best possible racing game experience for Gran Turismo fans and they won't be disappointed."

If you have an Xbox 360 like I do, and if you want the best racing game available for Xbox 360 then you'll want to purchase Forza 3. Forza 3 is over a year old and it was the best racing game out to date with the highest quality of graphics. Gran Turismo 5 is said to be better so if you own a Playstation 3 I say you should pick up this game when its available.
