A few months ago, we told you that Samsung has officially announced that they will bring Android 2.2 to Samsung Galaxy S in late September, which is currently we are going through. And now Samsung Spain is saying that Galaxy S will receive Android 2.2 in late October. Have a look on the statement:
Many of us are wondering about the date of publication of the update to Galaxy S. FroyoFinally it will be in late October through Samsung Kies.Monday at 8:15 a.m.
So here we have it, it's not confirm that this is also for US Galaxy S models, may be this is only for Spain. But if Samsung didn't launch it by the end of this month, then this might be true. Well folks, that's all we know. All the competitors of Galaxy S are on Android 2.2 (EVO 4G, Droid X), and Galaxy S is falling down because of this reason. So folks I hope Samsung will launch Android 2.2 for Galaxy S asap, so it can stand with its competitors with pride.
