All you need to do is first order a metallic backplate from the website CNN.cn (seems to be the only site that has the metallic backplate for iPhone 4 at the moment) then follow the simple instructions by the folks over at iFixit to disassemble your iPhone 4's backcover for a replacement. Please be aware this may void your iPhone's warranty and is of course not recommended by Apple.
