Ari Jaaksi, Vice President Nokia, Meego (formerly Maemo) Devices has resigned.� Finland's Talous Sanomat confirms that Ari Jaaksi quit the company last week. The hardtime in Nokia board continues after the CEO Olli Pekka and the Head of Nokia Mobile Solutions� Anssi Vanjoki, now Ari Jassksi who is responsible for Meego has left the company.
But Nokia spokesman said his departure doesnt affect the development of Meego and first Meego Device.� And also Nokia promises to give a update on Meego before this year end.
Jaaksi has worked at Nokia since 1998. Since 2003, he was developing Nokia's Linux-based Maemo operating system, which was used in Nokia's Internet Tablet Nokia N900 devices and smartphones. Last February, Nokia and Intel announced to merge Maemo and Moblin OS Meego.
