Well, we have a surprise for you here. We can easily tag the newly announced Motorola Droid Pro by Verizon as the first phone of the century which didn't get leaked before its official announcement. And, I am super excited about this newly announced phone as it is actually different.
Coming out of the world of slider palm tops like everyone has been launching recently Motorola has gone to the extent of ignoring the slider for once and has come up with something which many would consider as a Blackberry lookalike err, not really different I guess.
Motorola's Blackberry (the so called Droid Pro) will of course have Android as its operating system though we are not yet confirmed regarding the version that it will have. The Droid Pro comes with responsivecapacitive touch screen and a OMAP 3620 processor that runs with the speed of 1 GHz. It comes loaded with MDM6600 chipset, 512 MB of RAM, 2GB of internal memory, Wi-Fi, bluetooth 2.1 and tri-band UMTS.
It will also have dual LED flash with the auto-focus camera and a programmable key that can be set to any function as per your requirements. Price? No words yet on that from Verizon.
