Mad Catz has developed a new way for Rock Band lovers to enjoy the new Rock Band 3 recently released. The Midi Pro adapter now allows users to plug in a midi in/midi out cable from this "controller" to their electronic drum set or keyboard which are real instruments.

Next the Midi Pro adapter converts all the midi notes into a different note allowing the game to recognize each hit on your drum set or keyboard in the game! I think that this unit will become a huge hit, especially since Rock Band 3 now has a "Pro Mode" which allows you to play drums exactly how the drummer would play them and now people with electronic drum sets can hook it up and start playing with their real instruments on Rock band!

The unit also works as a controller for the console and on the Midi Pro adapter is large button in the bottom right corner for overdrive in Rock band. This unit will be priced at $39.99 and will be released on November 28th. It will be available for the Wii, PS3 and the Xbox 360.
