Early MacBook Pro's in 2011 have had some display screen issues, where the MacBook would freeze or continue flickering. Apple released a new minor update today that promises to fix those two issues and "improve graphics stability and external display compatibility." The flickering was caused by Thunderbolt on the MacBook Pros, the new update fixes both of the problems.
This new update is a good to have for many of the MacBook Pro owners out there that are having display problems. So if you're having problems with your MacBook Pro's screen doing glitchy things, then just download the software or you can use Apple's website to update as well. Hope this helps anyone who is struggling to fix their screen display issues.
*This update has been confirmed to be working so far on most Macbook Pros*.
