We are all waiting for Windows 8 with anticipation, and with each leaked version of Windows 8, we find some new exciting features. Windows 8 build 7955 has been leaked, and according to reports, Windows 8 will introduce a new "Specify settings for optional component installation and repair of operating system corruption".
As you know, since the early ages of Windows, we were forced to install our Windows in a predefined folder on our hard drive. According to these reports, that will change thanks to this new feature that allows you to choose the directory in which you want to store Windows 8. Although we don't see the reason why you would want to change the default Windows installation directory, it's still a welcomed feature, although we doubt that many people will use it.
Windows 8 is still a long way away, but we might get the chance to try the beta later this year, while the final release will likely become available in late 2012 or early 2013.
