BlackBerry PlayBook gets a new software update to version 1.0.6. This update includes the new versions of Adobe Air and Adobe Flash Player. The PlayBook has already received 3 updates since its launch, and this is the 4th update.

This update includes

• Adobe Flash Player 10.3 that comes with the fix for some security bugs and offers better flash performance
• Adobe Air 2.7 that lets the users access new apps developed with Adobe Air 2.7

The Adobe Air update also brings lots of features for developers.

New users who purchases new PlayBook would get this update automatically during the setup process. Other users would get the notification in the status ribbon or they could update it manually in the Settings Menu, under Software Updates.
