The International Trade Commission (ITC ) has found HTC guilty of violating 2 of Apple's patents in the patent litigation between the two companies in the US. This is only a initial finding and the final ruling is yet to be passed. But HTC phones might be banned from being imported to the US if� the case continues in favor of Apple who seems to be holding the upper hand in the case at this point. The 2 companies might go in for a settlement the same way Apple and Nokia ended all litigation.

This might be bad news for Android which has been plagued with patent issues over the last few months. We are not sure if other Android handset makers are likely to be affected by this case.
