Samsung adopted a�new simplified naming strategy for its GALAXY range of smartphones. They have also launched new Samsung Galaxy Y and Samsung Galaxy Y Pro smartphones. The Samsung Galaxy Y lies in the entry level category and it is aimed at younger�generation. The Samsung Galaxy Y pro features QWERTY keyboard and it is aimed at younger�professionals. Both these phones run on Android 2.3 (Gingerbread) and comes with�a 2MP camera.

The price of these phones have not been announced yet. The Samsung Galaxy Y and Galaxy Y Pro smartphones would be showcased at IFA in Berlin next week.
