A new HTC handset has appeared in the rumor mills which suggest that the Android based smartphone will sport a 4.7? display. Other specifications include a 1.5Ghz�Qualcomm Snapdragon MSM8255 processor. 16GB � 32GB of storage can be expected in the handset alongside support for SRS Surround Sound. An 8MP camera capable of capturing 720p video is expected to be found on the back of the device.

HTC recently gained a controlling share in Beats Audio. The Runnymede 2 is believed to be one of the first handsets to benefit from this acquisition. The audio on the smartphone is said to have been tuned by Beats. The retail packaging is also said to include a Beats Solo headset which alone ships for $179.
