The BlackBerry Playbook is one impressive tablet atleast from what we have seen so far. When RIM announced this tablet few months ago , it spoke only about WiFi versions but hinted at 3G/4G versions for the future. And today at CES Sprint and RIM announced the BlackBerry 4G PlayBook for the Sprint 4G ( WiMax) network. It is expected to be launched this summer.

BlackBerry 4G PlayBook Coming to the Sprint 4G Network

January 6, 2011 -�CES 2011, Las Vegas, NV � Research In Motion (RIM) (NASDAQ: RIMM; TSX: RIM) and Sprint (NYSE: S) today announced plans to launch a new BlackBerry® PlayBook™ tablet model featuring connectivity to the blazingly fast Sprint 4G network. The BlackBerry 4G PlayBook™ will be the first BlackBerry PlayBook model to include wide area wireless connectivity, featuring Sprint 4G to give customers download speeds up to 10 times faster than 3G¹. This new 4G model is expected to be available from Sprint in the summer.

The Sony Ericsson XPERIA ARC which was leaked yesterday was finally made official at CES in Las Vegas. The handset is powered by Android 2.3 operating system and features a sexy Arc design which is just 8.7mm at the thinnest portion.The ARC sports a 4.2 inch display featuring a Mobile Bravia engine.

The phone packs a 8.1 MP Camera with HD Video recording and uses Sony's Exmor R mobile sensor.You can beam them to your TV using the built in HDMI port.

Price has not been revealed.

Today at CES 2011, T-Mobile USA� and LG Mobile Phones announced T-Mobile G-Slate which is the upcoming 4G Android Honeycomb tablet for T-Mobile from LG

"The T-Mobile G-Slate with Google will build on our rich history of Android innovation and leadership and deliver deep integration with Google services."
