The Apple iPhone 4 has been launched in China by Chinese Operator China Unicom. It went on sale at 4 Apple Stores in China� including the stores and Beijing and Shanghai The price of the unlocked versions of the iPhone 4 are pretty high though.

16GB � 4999 yuan or 746 USD approx

32GB � 5999 yuan or 849 USD approx

The contract-free phones are available only at the Apple stores and customers buying it at China Unicom stores should sign up for a 2 year contract.

China is dominated my Nokia , Samsung , Sony Ericsson and Motorola and Apple is definitely going to increase it's market share with the iPhone 4 . The iPhone 3GS sales were poor though.
