After the GeForce GTS 450 that was a mid-end graphic card from Club 3D, we have another GeForce graphic card but from another company. Recently Zotac has announced a new GeForce GTX 460 2GB for hardcore gamers so let's check it out.
The GeForce GTX 460 is the first NVIDIA Fermi-based graphics card from Zotec, it comes with 2GB of GDDR5 graphical memory set at 3600MHz. In addition, GeForce GTX 460 2GB has a 256-bit memory interface that allows you to achieve brilliant speeds as well as gaming performances.
As for the Cuda cores, this card has 336 Cuda Cores set at 1420MHz and GPU clock of 710MHz. All this power needs cooling and the dual-slot cooling system will do this very well. In addition, GTX 460 2GB has support for all sorts of NVIDIA technologies such as NVIDIA 3D Vision Surround NVIDIA CUDA & PhysX, NVIDIA SLI ready (2-way), and NVIDIA PureVideo HD technology.
Of course, the GeForce GTX 460 2GB from Zotec has Microsoft DirectX 11 with Shader Model 5.0 and DirectCompute support and it is fully OpenGL 4.0 compatible. Besides that, this card supports HDMI 1.3a compliant and Blu-ray 3D. Last thing about GeForce GTX 460 2GB is that it has dual dual-link DVI-I, HDMI, and DisplayPort.
Overall, GeForce GTX 460 2GB from Zotec is a perfect graphic card for gaming but so far we don't have any information about its release date or pricing, but we're positive that gaming graphic cards like this won't come cheap.
