Were not giving preference to Pentax based launches at Photokina rather it is Pentax itself that is regularly coming up with plenty of attractive products at short intervals. We have already talked about the Pentax K-5 launch and now here is Pentax with another launch at Photokina. Pentax has recently launched the smc DA 18-135mm f3.5-5.6ED AL [IF] DC WR lens at Photokina.

The newly launched Pentax lens is weather resistant and is made up of 13 elements in 11 groups including, hybrid aspherical, lass-moulded aspherical elements and ED glass which helps the lense generate good image quality without increasing the size of the lens.

The lens also comes up with a DC motor which is built into the lens auto focus unit which assures extra smooth auto focus operations for better image results. The ED (extra low depression) glass element helps the lens capture amazing images with least amount of aberrations. It is also the reason behind the small size of lens as already described above.

The pack of Pentax K-5 body and the newly launched Pentax lens have been bundled for the price of �1699.99 which is understandable due to the various attractive features of the package.
