Its been announced today that the Taiwanese PC maker Acer is to give a further injection of tablets into the currently, very busy Android tablet market. One of Acer's new flagships will be a 1.3mm thick,10.1 inch tab which features a dual-core 1GHz processor, an HDMI output and a native 1280800 screen resolution.
There's also a five megapixel rear camera, an "HD" front-facing camera for video calling and full multitouch support.
The younger tablet sibling will be a 7-inch tablet which features the same screen resolution, a dual-core 1.2GHz Qualcomm CPU and the same Flash 10.1 support. Both tablets appear to run the latest Froyo, Android 2.2. While no pricing info is available at this time, however, it is almost certain that both will arrive in April next year.
