Today, we saw the HTC Thunderbolt in an ad; along with the HTC Inspire 4G. Verizon will announce the Thunderbolt anytime because the CES event is going on now, but our friends over atAndroidSpin got their hands on the HTC Thunderbolt ahead of the launch, and they are also sharing some information with us about the phone. It looks like the specs we heard about theThunderbolt are fake because AndroidSpin is saying that the device comes with following spec:
- ARM v7 processor, Single Core, 1 GHz
- 8 GB internal memory, (32 GB SD card included)
- 4.3 inch screen
- NO HDMI port
- 8 MP rear camera, 1.3 MP front-facing camera
- Runs the new HTC Sense UI on top of Android 2.1.2
- HTC Maps and Navigation is included
- DLNA support via an HTC preinstalled app
Keep in mind that these specs are not final, so before making any final decision, wait for official announcement from Verizon and HTC. I hope Verizon will clear the air any time, so folks stay tuned with us!
