Since the iPad became successful from day one, there has been a rush of companies releasing their own tablets. Most of them have Android as their OS, as only Android can try to match and compete with iOS.
So, here is yet another Android based tablet coming from the Italian-based company Olivetti for the European Market. It is named OliPad and will run on Android 2.2 Froyo (too old for tablets though and not a great start). It has a 1024 x 600 touchscreen display (10.1 inch) with multi-touch support. Its other feature includes a NVIDIA Tegra 2 dual-core processor, a 1GB RAM, a 16GB SSD, a 1.3-megapixel camera, WiFi, bluetooth, 3G module, two USB ports and an HDMI port.
The OliPad will start shipping in Italy from March 7th for 399 Euros (about $575 not that reasonable). Hope this may amaze everyone and prove to be a good competitor to Apple iPad.
