HP announced its smallest Web OS handset Veer this February and it was showcased at Mobile World Congress few days later. This phone was expected to launch this spring in USA. Now HP has put up an online invite to an event scheduled on May 2nd 2011.

They have also mentioned there would be hands on experience, demos and giveaways at the event.

HP Veer has similar specs as Pre 3, but smaller than that with 2.5 inch (320�400 Pixels) touch screen and a slide out keyboard. This also has a 5 MP EDoF camera, GPS,Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and runs on a� Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 MHz Processor.

precentral.net reports that HP has sent email to people who have registered should bring AT&T/Best Buy Business card to get in, which confirms that this would launch on AT&T. This device might launch in May.
